It’s more than human romance-Marriage

Marriage is the intimate union and equal partnership of a man and a woman. It comes to us from God who created man and woman in his image, to unite them to be one body and might be fertile and multiply. Man and woman are equal as God children, and they are created with important differences that allow them to give themselves and to receive the other gift. God purposes for marriage are related to the fall of Satan, God gives three mandates for Christian marriage to reflect, reign, and reproduce. Satan works hard to keep Christians from accomplishing them.

The purpose of the Marriage

  • ·         Marriage is both natural institution and sacred union because it is rooted in divine plan of creation. It is a stable home in which children can grow and thrive.
  • ·         The other purpose of the marriage is to protect individuals from sexual immorality. The world we live in this present moment is full of sexual images and temptations and sexual sin is easy to commit as brothels are all over the place and prostitution is rife and easily accessible.
  • ·         Marriage is seen as good provider of a healthy place to express sexuality without opening oneself to the emotional damage that is caused by casual, non-committed sexual relationships.
  • ·         Marriage is more than human romance but is the display of Christ and bride in love together
  • ·         Marriage purpose is enjoyment by both partners and they must know that its honorable in all, and the bed undefiled and those committed adultery will punish them.
  • ·         Marriage was to complete Eve that which was lacking in Adam’s life.
  • ·         Marriage purpose is the protection of woman by his husband to lay down his life. The wife in return protects the interests of her home and parents to protect their children.
  • ·         The man shall leave his father and his mother and he breaks away from them and join his wife for the sake of a more profound loyalty.
