How to reduce Road rage

Road rage is defined as  unpleasant behavior or visibly angry behavior by a driver of  a motor vehicle or motorcycle which can results in incidents or crashes on road way. It can further be describe as aggressive driving to the point of endangering others and is on the rise.

The sleepiness is the other cause of road rage and people will be easily annoyed, resentment and anger. It is recommended that people should sleep 8 before they embark on the journey. People should plan their trip well and be on time for an appointment. In short prepare in time the previous day so that in the morning you have enough time for your trip and any disturbance in the road ahead such as stop –go, accidents, road construction, and slippery road or detour road. Be polite driver and allows other drivers to pass you or get over into your lane if needed. You can find the alternatives routes to get you where you wanted to go, by using online mapping to look for alternatives routes; this will help to avoid the trouble of road rage.

If the angry driver shout at you don’t shout back or make an eye contact, and rather keep your eyes on the road and don’t mind the angry driver. You better be fool and arrive alive than being brave and not arrive at all. Remember it’s not about you and before you can accuse the other driver you must realize that you are individual not a target. If you feel your life is in danger note the license plate number and drive to nearest police station and ask for help. Listen to soft music that will make you happy and clams you down. This will help you to keep you calm and help you to avoid or ignore road rage.

The other important tips are to avoid using the phone, text message, eat or do anything that can distract you while driving. Be warn that the road doesn’t belong to you alone and you have to give due consideration to other users. Lastly treat fellow drivers how you like be treated “do unto others” rule.
