Overcoming Shyness



We have lot of technique to overcome shyness which others can be done around and others somewhere and some in the comfort of your home. The key point is to retrain your brain the lower levels of your brains. Others thinks that by training  the idea of learning how to overcome shyness changes you and it can changes you personality too. The right way to overcome shyness is not about changing yourself and it doesn’t define you but certainly it does limit you. You experiences or opportunities won’t be the same as others in business and in personal sense.

There are number of technique you can use to reduce your level of psycho physiological arousal such as simple breathing, inhaling and exhaling deeply and slowly and focus your attention on the nature of breathing. Another technique is squeezing your hand into a fist and then letting go, and to reduce some of the tension you are experiencing. You should not resort to alcohol or drugs as means to reduce your level of arousal. They are the short term effects   and the behavior will return immediately after alcohol or drugs are worn out. It will take you back where you started and the results will be hangover.

Shy people can also overcome shyness by mastering the art of small talk by developing their conversation skills and have something to say. We have quite number of strategies people can utilize such as reading magazine, newspapers, listening to information based Radio programs and they can simple analysis the headlines.

The other strategies is to perform in social gathering to interact with people to give them compliments and offer to get someone refreshment as you getting some for you. Some they use their likelihood for successful social interactions by looking for others who are not shy and standing or sitting alone and join her/him to interact.They should know that no one is liked by everyone and rejection is one of the risks that accompany engaging in social interactions.
