Dyslexia is term that describes term of disorder that
involves difficulty in learning to read or interpret words, letters and other
symbols and is not affecting general intelligence. It may cause by specific
reading disability due to defect in the brain processing of graphic symbols. It
affect the way brain process written material. It can be characterize by
difficulties in word recognition and spelling including decoding. It is
different from reading retardation which may reflect mental retardation or cultural
deprivation. It is common in learning disability and 8% of students with
learning disabilities have dyslexia.
Symptoms of dyslexia

What causes dyslexia?
Dyslexia it can be linked to genes that control how the
brain develops and appear be inherited conditions and is within the family. It
can appear to affects parts of the brain concerned with language, interfering
with ability to convert written letters and words into speech.
The small minority of people with dyslexia acquired the
condition after were born and most common causes of acquired dyslexia is brain
injuries, stroke and other type of trauma. Humans have the ability to understand
spoken language it is something the brain acquires easily and naturally from a
very early age. This can be justifying during early childhood like 3years we
can utter and understand relatively complicated sentences.
Treatment of dyslexia
The people who have such child must know that dyslexia is
not a disease and we live in a society where reading and writing are integral
parts of everyday life and interventions that help people with dyslexia are
aimed at improving their coping skills. There is no cure for dyslexia but a
wide range of specialist and well-targeted interventions can help children and
adults improve their reading and writing skills.
The majority of children diagnosed with dyslexia will only
miss few hours of their schooling each week to receive specialist education
support which consist of one on one teaching group classes. The sooner a child
is diagnosed and receives support the more likely he or she will achieve long
term improvements. The psychologist testing helps the teacher develop a better
targeted teaching program for the child. The trained teacher who is trained in
helping children with dyslexia will use a range of techniques to improve the
